Navigating the Job Search in Dental Assisting

During Week 8 the Academy for Dental Assisting Careers administers written and clinical final exams and upon passing certifications are issued.

Students will prepare for their careers by learning effective job search strategies. This includes resume building, interview preparation, and understanding what employers look for in dental assistants.

Colorado Dental Assistant School

Certifications

Graduates receive certificates in dental assisting and dental radiology, specific to Colorado and usually non-transferable to other states. We utilize the Colorado Dental Association dental radiology training. Students can also pursue the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification, which is a separate process.
